The Gers boss made it back-to-back victories from his opening two matches with a last gasp victory over Aberdeen on Tuesday evening, with Scott Arfield netting twice off the substitutes bench deep into stoppage time.
Speaking to the media ahead of tomorrow's trip north to face Ross County in the Scottish Premiership, Beale commented: "What I want is for everyone to be fit. And if that isn't going to be until the start of February, that can be the moment where I can assess the squad.
"We haven't had centre backs. We haven't had a stable back four. We've managed to win two very important games without it, which shows a different side in terms of mentality. If it had been two 2-0’s you still would have only gotten six points, so the reality is we've played two games, against two of the tougher opponents, and we've come out with the results which is the most important thing right now.
"I don't want to use any excuses, but in the last week, Tav has been off twice. He did travel on his own and he was a big doubt for the game. He seems fine now, and it was obviously Connor's first game [back]. With Ben, he's coming back but he's had issues within that so that's why Connor was able to play because he's been clean in his rehab. Glen Kamara probably should have had an operation in the last couple of months but has played through. There are a lot of little things. Alfredo, what you probably didn't know is that he had to come in from training on the day before the game and played probably when he shouldn't have done.
"I want to take all of the excuses aside. They're paid really well these boys and they play for a really big football club and are living their dream, so if they're fit, they go out and play. If we allowed everyone who had a niggle or sore throat not to play, we'd struggle to put out a starting XI at the moment. That's the situation that we're in. That's why I'd never question the mentality of the group especially in getting the two results, because some players have played when they wouldn't have if everyone was available.
"We're managing Ryan Jack's minutes. John Lundstram took an injection to be on the bench on Tuesday night. When you come in, it's like a pandora's box that you weren't expecting, but so far, so good."
The Light Blues have netted six times in their last two outings under the new boss, and Beale insists he's been encouraged by the individual creativity at his disposal as he gears his side up for their penultimate Scottish Premiership fixture of 2022.
He continued: "Late on in the game on Tuesday night I had to do something to completely scramble the game and what Aberdeen were trying to do. For 15-20 minutes in the second half, I didn't recognise us. When the goal went in, everyone started forcing it. We had a lot of passing errors so I just decided that I'm making four changes and the boys that came on helped.
"We played with four players behind the striker, Scott [Arfield] and Malik [Tillman] were closer together. For the goal, if Malik doesn't attempt to outplay and create something, we draw that game. I'm thankful to him for it and that's the mentality that I want him to have. Same with Ryan Kent, I want him to go where they need to go to get the ball and have as many touches as possible. It's nice to have those options for sure."
