The young forward, who had a real impressive breakthrough campaign with the Gers last season, will get a second taste of the competition having previously featured when the Light Blues took on Arsenal and Atletico Madrid back in 2024.
Speaking to the official club website as the team gear up for the competitive action returning with the visit of SK Slavia Praha next Wednesday evening in the second round qualifier, she said: “It is something that everyone wants to do is play in the Champions League.
“To get the opportunity to do that and to do that at home it is quite nice. We are all really excited to go and will be ready come next Wednesday.
“I have been waiting for the season and the league to start. When it comes we'll just all be excited to go and give it our all and hopefully we can do well this season.
“Being at home with our home fans, our friends and family will just help us. Hopefully we can go into those games and get the results we want.”
Having returned to training on June 30 the Light Blues have stepped up preparations over the past month with friendly outings against Partick Thistle, as well as English clubs Newcastle United and Birmingham City respectively. The new Gers number nine believes those tests will stand the squad in good stead for their Euro return and has allowed the new arrivals to settle in nicely.
She added: “I think it has been really good to get back with the squad and be together with the new players.
“We have gelled really well and played some tough teams and I think it is just going to put us in good stead for the season.
“They were both really good tests getting to compete against English teams and we done that really well.
“There were certain things we needed to work on and those two games really helped us. Going into the Champions League we have got lots that we can take from them.
“I think those games are perfect for that, going into them obviously English teams are knowing to be a challenge so going and doing that against those types of opposition just gives us a taste of what the Champions League will be like.
“We are now prepared and ready to go into those games and give it our all.
“All the new signings have been excellent since they have come in. They have settled in really fast and they have played their parts in the friendlies and hopefully they can do that during the season too.”
