BOJAN MIOVSKI believes having competition for places is part and parcel of life at Rangers.
Head Coach Danny Röhl added German striker Ryan Naderi to his ranks last month to battle for a start with Miovski and Youssef Chermiti.
Far from fearing the challenge, the North Macedonian international insists he relishes the battle of making the starting XI.
Speaking to the media ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Motherwell, he said: “When results are coming, you feel that confidence.
“We have competition for places now, and that is nice as you push each other.
“I always go into every game to score and help the team.
“In training, it is competitive, and they are like first-team matches, and that is good for the team.
“You want to prove to the coach that you want to play, and everyone has that mindset.
“The gaffer has brought a lot of good energy to the team. We have a lot of meetings on tactics and how we can help the team.
“We have a lot of games in a short period of time, but we look like a good team.”
The Light Blues head for Fir Park before hosting Hearts at Ibrox on Sunday.
Miovski is well aware of the talk of another ‘big week’ for the side, but he insists the squad are only focusing on their trip to Motherwell.
He added: “At this stage of the season, and the teams are close, they are all big games. But we go game by game, and we are focused on Motherwell.
“When you win games, it gives you a lot of confidence. We are professional players, and we all have strong mindsets.
“Every week at Rangers is massive, but we have to focus on this moment, and we will see what happens.
“I don’t watch the other teams play as I don’t watch too much football. Maybe some of the other boys are different, but I don’t.
“We fully focus on ourselves, and winning our matches is the most important thing to us.”
