Gers play four festive Scottish Premiership matches in 11 days beginning in Perth – but it is a programme they have become accustomed to in what is a season like no other given the various Covid-19 disruptions.
Speaking at this morning’s press conference, Barisic explained: "The schedule is a little bit crazy and we play every three or four days, but we have played that since September.
"Of course, it is sometimes hard to recover playing three or four months in a row like that, but that is why we are playing for Rangers and it is why we represent this club.
"There is no time to sit thinking about this schedule - we think only about the next game and having to recover for the next game.
"Believe me, we are fully focused so we will not have a problem with the schedule.
"We know this game against St Johnstone will be tough, especially as we are playing away.
"We are going there to win and we will give everything we have to win that game."
Barisic was thrilled with the way in which he and his teammates came back from a goal down late-on against Motherwell to claim the three points in their last Scottish Premiership outing on Saturday.
He praised the strength of the squad which allowed boss Gerrard to make alterations in the second half to change the game, adding: "It is very important, especially as you can now use five subs. We have more than 20 players now who can play and everyone trains very well and is ready all the time to come in.
"As you can see in the last game, they brought a lot of energy when they came on and that is what we expect from the players who are on the bench to bring energy.
"They did that and I am very pleased with that."
The Gers go in to the game top of the table with a lead of sixteen points, with the Saints currently in tenth place.
