The 20-year-old says he has enjoyed the run in this season’s competition as the Gers became the first Colts team to reach the last four.
Breen hopes the young side can again step-up to another test this weekend, speaking to RangersTV ahead of the game, he said: “Obviously a challenge for the boys, we have been preparing quite a lot for it.
“It is a big game, if you are playing for a cup there are high expectations so hopefully we will get the win.
“I think when you are playing against first teams and we have got a young side it is a real real challenge but hopefully it will be good.
“It has been a long journey in the cup coming through the games and we have been really really good the boys have been stepping up to the challenge.
Breen says there is a positive mood in training ahead of the semi-final.
He continued: “Obviously the result against Atletico we didn’t want but they boys were right back into training with high hopes for Sunday.
“You need to it put it behind you, it is hard to take but the boys have come back and are ready to go.
“I feel like you need to treat every game the same, obviously when you are playing in cups and that you might get that wee bit of nerves but it is good nerves.
“Getting to the final of anything obviously would be really good so the boys have high hopes and we will hopefully pull through.”
