The Gers returned to winning ways in the SWPL at the weekend with a win over Spartans before they will quickly turn their attentions to a trip to the capital as they face Hearts tomorrow afternoon.
Speaking to RangersTV to look ahead to the clash against the side who have won six of their seven opening fixtures, the winger commented: “I think it is important that we had the Champions League games in amongst the league games because we face a totally different challenge and it is going to be the same come Sunday.
“It is a different challenge again and we will prepare for it the same way we have prepared for any other game.
“We will look at the opposition and we will see what their threats are and we will find ways to hurt them as well.
“We have got to take confidence from the amount of goals we have scored and only conceding one so far in the league.
“We go to a different challenge against Hearts, they have challenged us in the past so I think it is just going in with that mindset that we are focused on our type of football and what we are going to do in the game.
“We are in a new season; we have got new goals and focuses.
“We know the threat that they gave us last year so we need to just focus on this game one at a time and we will look at ways to hurt them.”
The 25-year-old has spoken of the new signings that have joined the club over the summer with six new additions overall, highlighting it further adds real competition that was already amongst the squad.
She continued: “It has been really nice actually, having some new faces in.
“I think the team has gelled together pretty quickly.
“You see that in our performances there is a good team environment and we have that on and off the pitch.
“It makes a real difference, Charlie coming in as well it is important to keep adding quality to the team and the subs are making an impact it shows the strength and depth we have got.
“These additions have been really good for us.”
The Scotland international has reflected on the side’s return to league action last weekend in a game in which she added her first assist of the season having found the target against both Queen’s Park and Montrose previously, stating she wants to continuously add numbers to her game.
She added: “The subs came on and made a huge difference and I think that something we have really got this season is the strength and depth in the squad.
“Whether players are starting or coming on to make a difference you see the real quality shining through.
“For me, I would like to add assists and goals to the season this year. It is just to keep going and I'll do what I can for the team.”
