BROGAN HAY believes Rangers showed their confidence as a squad as they beat Forfar 11-0 with a dominant performance at Rangers Training Centre this afternoon.
The winger netted a double as Malky Thomson’s side picked up three points in the Scottish Women’s Premier League.
Speaking to RangersTV she said: “I think the whole team's reaction was brilliant, we went out with the intention of winning, getting as many goals as possible and really keeping the team spirit high.
“We know we are a great team and what we are capable of and I think in today's performance we didn't take our foot off the gas and we were really relentless in getting the goals.
“It is very important to get the early goals and it gave us that extra confidence boost. It allowed us to play the game a bit more open and try new things.
“The confidence levels are really high and everyone is very encouraging and we all want to do our best for each other so I think that shows on the pitch.
“I feel like it is important that when we have a really good first half performance that when we come into the second-half we don't step off the game.
“We keep our intensity high, we play to our best and keep our levels up and to get a few more goals in the second-half was really important as well.”
Hay caused problems for Forfar all afternoon, scoring two and providing an assist for Lizzie Arnot’s opener.
She added: “It is great to get another 90 minutes, it has been a while since that happened so I am really pleased that I have come into the team and I have tried to prove myself as much as possible.
“I’m just trying to be effective for the team and create chances and I think I did well and I am really pleased to be here and grateful.”
