The Greece international has put pen to paper on a deal until the summer of 2028 and becomes the first signing of the calendar year for Leanne Crichton’s side.
Speaking to RangersTV in her first exclusive interview with the club, the winger outlined her ambitions for the second half of the season with her new team, she said: “I am just excited to see how we can do in the second half of the season.
“I want to be part in any way that I can to support and play. I am just excited to push the environment and see what we can do.
“I want to win trophies, and we want to be number one.
“It is obviously going to be hard work and take some time and adjustment, but that is the goal, that is why I am here.
“Scottish league? I knew a bit about it before, but I have just been learning a lot since deciding to sign with Rangers.
“Just kind of looking at the table from last year and how close it was, how close the table is even right now is something that will really push the environment in practice because everyone wants to be the number one.”
The 24-year-old has reflected on her journey in the game to date, starting out in college football in the United States, to getting her professional breakthrough with a move to Europe before being recognised on the international stage last year.
She continued: “I played college football at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell. It was amazing, I met some great people, great coaches that really pushed me.
“Ultimately, it was the reason why I wanted to continue playing. I went over, and I played in Iceland last season in the first league, so that was a great experience, and now I am here in Scotland and hope to get some time in this league.
“That was my first time leaving home, so it definitely was a hard experience, but you get used to as time goes on, and your teammates and coaches are really the ones who help you through that transition.
“I am just hoping to find that here as well.
“It was a very challenging league; the top teams are very good, and it's good competition.
“You get a lot of experience playing against such strong and competitive girls, so I really will lean back on that during this season.
“My first time being called in was last spring, and it was a great opportunity and something that I didn't want to say no to.
“Just being in that environment and meeting a new group of girls and a new style of play was very challenging, and it will continue to be, but it is something that I look forward to, and I hope to continue to play with them.
“First cap? It was much different than anything I have ever experienced; it was surreal.
“It was nice to be supported, and I felt like I could compete there.
“I think this environment is something that will push me and challenge me day in and day out.
“All I can do is show up and work hard, and I hope that will push me at international level as well.”
Brookshire gave fans a taster of what they can expect to see when she represents the club, sharing her excitement at the prospect of pulling on the Rangers colours for the first time.
She added: “I usually play as a winger on the left or right. I like driving with the ball, going one-on-one, taking players on, connecting with my teammates, and hopefully getting some goals in there.
“Talks with the club? I just wanted to make sure that I was somewhere that was going to push me and challenge.
“Somewhere that was a good professional environment, and I am really seeing that even within my first few days. I am excited for it to continue.
“Camille [Lafaix] has been a great help; she has been showing me around and just making sure I know what is going on and know where to be.
“It has been super nice to have her here.
“Just being able to put on that jersey and represent the club is just bigger than yourself, and just being able to be on the field, on the bench, in the stands, anything is just going to be such a great experience.”
