RANGERS Academy are today delighted to announce that Callum Burnside has signed a contract extension until the end of the 2026/27 season, with the option for a further year.
The 18-year-old, who is currently on loan at Alloa Athletic until January, is a Northern Ireland Under-19 international and represented his country across the recent set of international fixtures.
In the meantime, he has recorded seven goal contributions in as many appearances for Rangers Under-19s this campaign, four of which have arrived in the KDM Evolution Trophy.
Speaking after putting pen-to-paper, the youngster commented: “I’m absolutely thrilled to have extended my contract at the club.
“It’s a proud day for me and my family, and I’m grateful to the club for the faith they’ve shown in me.
“As a boyhood fan it is a privilege every single day to pull on the jersey, and although I know there’s still a lot of hard work ahead, I’m ready to give everything to keep improving and make the most of this opportunity.”
