RANGERS Academy are today pleased to announce that defender Calum Young has signed his first professional contract.
Young, 16, has completed the full Academy journey at the club as he makes the step up to the Under-17s side this season.
Interim Head of Academy, David McCallum, commented: “We are excited to welcome Calum into our full-time programme here at the Academy.
“He is a player who is always hungry to learn, and throughout his Academy journey here at Rangers he has shown his capacity for constant improvement.
“The beginning of a full-time journey as a young professional is always a hugely exciting prospect, and it’s up to Calum to grasp the opportunity in front of him over the coming years.”
