TODAY’s episode of the Cap Collection sees us go to the 1980s, and a man who not only had two spells as a Rangers player, but also had the privilege of a short spell in the manager’s seat in 2018.

Jimmy Nicholl originally joined Gers on-loan in 1983, famously signing for John Greig before Greig resigned the next day to be replaced by Jock Wallace.

He then returned to Ibrox under Graeme Souness in 1986, following his second World Cup with Northern Ireland, having also been a part of their famous side of 1982.

We’re joined by RangersTV’s Tom Miller and club historian David Mason to look back on his time with the club. Click to listen or subscribe for FREE in the player above.
