BRITISH high-performance sportswear brand, Castore, has released the new 2021/2022 Rangers home kit which features its iconic scroll crest in gold to commemorate the club’s 150th anniversary.

Castore has unveiled the new 2021/22 Rangers home kit, which celebrates the club’s 150th anniversary with gold scroll crest.
The kit was revealed this morning in a launch video featuring Rangers stars Glen Kamara, James Tavernier, Nathan Patterson, Megan Bell and Kirsty Howat shot at Ibrox. The video highlights the relentless attitude, determination and belief required for Rangers to win their second title in two years as Gerrard’s team strives for even better.
The shirt includes several nods to the team’s iconic history. Its classic V-neck design is inspired by a some of the club’s most popular and iconic kits from the 50s and 60s worn by the likes of Jim Baxter, while its thin white stripes pay homage to the shirts from the early 80s donned by heroes such as Davie Cooper.
As well as going gold for the 150th anniversary, Rangers’ iconic scroll crest has been adorned with a ribbon in the style of the commemorative mosaic on Ibrox’s famous Bill Struth Main Stand. The crest proudly displays “1872 – 150 Years – 2022” and the five stars, which represents the club’s “First to Fifty” league titles achievement, have been re-positioned to the back of the shirt to allow the scroll crest to be larger and in keeping with the heritage theme of the new shirt.
While the design of the shirt celebrates the club’s rich history the shirt includes state of the art lightweight, high stretch and breathable fabric, to maximise performance and comfort.
