Cedric Itten Returns To Rangers From Greuther Furth

RANGERS can today announce that Cedric Itten has been recalled to the club from German Bundesliga club Greuther Furth.

The 25 year-old scored twice in 12 appearances in Germany, including against Bayern Munich whilst also earning a recall to the Switzerland national team.

He featured in the Swiss’ matches against Northern Ireland and Lithuania, and scored in their victory over Bulgaria in November.

His first season at Ibrox last season saw him net seven times in 37 appearances.

Sporting Director, Ross Wilson, said: “Gio was aware of Cedric’s profile as a player prior to the confirmation of his appointment as Rangers manager.

“Clearly Cedric knows the club well, knows what winning here feels like and joins a squad that he is already a popular member of.”
