The power of FFIT really is something special - just ask some of our success stories! Susan Ramsay, Tom Buchan, Iain Barnes and Scot Smart are just some of the participants who have turned their lives around thanks to FFIT!
Iain topped the scales at 21 stone before he took the plunge and signed up. Five months on, he had lost an incredible 4.5 stone and felt amazing!
Scot Smart was another success story, commenting: “The course had such an impact on my life that I just want to share that and hopefully inspire someone."
"The peer support and motivation from the coaches was key. The programme was the catalyst for me improving my life and I’d like to wish each and every participant signing up now the best of luck - you will have the support you need to change your life for the better."
The programme was created by the SPFL Trust in partnership with the University of Glasgow and is funded in Scotland by the Scottish Government.
Research has determined that the power of being ‘in your own club’ (for example, being behind the scenes, by the pitch, etc) is a strong motivating factor, and results in a very much higher level of programme ‘completers’.
