The midfielder said the Gers always believed they would get the vital goal as her 75th minute strike sealed the three points at Ainslie Park.
Speaking to RangersTV after the game she said: “It was great obviously to get the three points and the win, we know it is early days in the league but we are happy to get away with the victory.
“Every game is going to be difficult in this league, we are challenging every Sunday for that three points and we are happy to come away with them today.
“I think we were very patient in the first half and we just had to continue that. We knew that the goal would eventually come no matter what so it was just remaining patient and eventually the goal came for us.
“It was just really good to get the win as a team and obviously it is good to get on the scoresheet but the three points is the main thing.”
With three wins under their belt this season, Chelsea feels the squad are continuing to grow in confidence.
She continued: “Obviously we are only a few games into the season but I think already we are gelling really well as a team and that is only going to become stronger as we keep playing.
“Every week we are growing in confidence and learning from each other week in week out and it is really promising.”
