RANGERS Football Club are delighted to announce that Chelsea Cornet has signed a contract extension to keep her at the club until June 2022.
The midfielder, who joined from Hibernian in January 2020, has made seven appearances so far this season for Malky Thomson’s side. After recovering from a recent injury, Cornet has slotted back into midfield in recent SWPL victories over Forfar Farmington and Motherwell.
On her new deal, Cornet said: “I am super excited to get my name down on the paper and I am buzzing to be staying at this club.
“It has been amazing so far, we bond really well as a team which is amazing and I have loved every minute of it.
“Being full-time has been a game changer. Being able to fully-focus on football has been amazing and being able to focus on my technical aspects as well has been great.”
