The manager says his squad will show respect to their Championship opponents, but he wants to see a performance as they bid for a place in the quarter-finals of the competition.
Speaking to the media at the pre-match press conference: “It is about showing quality and mentality and showing respect for their qualities. I think the best example was last night, I always follow my friends and Monaco went out of the cup against a second division team yesterday evening so those are not things I want to see happen here.
“The staff and players have done the maximum they can in the period that we have had together to get the best out of it, but I think we still have a big margin to grow. It is difficult to do that when you have a game every three days, so that is why we also need a rotation in the squad to have everybody fit.”
On his squad, and their availability for tomorrow’s match, Clement said Ryan Jack and Ben Davies will return, while Tom Lawrence will miss out as his injury return is managed.
He continued: “Tom Lawrence is not in the squad but that is more of a precaution like we did with Ryan Jack at the weekend so they are coming back and have played a lot of minutes so it is to give enough recovery that we can build the next few weeks.
“Leon [Balogun] went to see the specialist and I expect him back next week, not now. I don’t know if it will be for Ross County or for the weekend. I am not sure about that yet, but it will not be a long-term thing. He is going to play with a mask, and the mask needs to be adapted. I have a little bit of experience with those things so sometimes you need a few sessions to see everything and feel comfortable so we will see next week.”

Guiding Rangers to League Cup success back in December, Clement was asked if that helped him understand how much the domestic trophies mean in Scotland.
He said: “What I love about this country and about this club is that there is a lot of respect for these three trophies, I have been in clubs before where that was also the case but not to the extent that it is here.
“I don't speak only of inside the club, but also the people around, supporters and also the way of respect towards players and managers.
“I have seen a few times that football lives in the veins of everybody. It feels like that, and I have to say that I didn't know that before I came, and I am impressed about that. It is a nice environment to work and to live in because it motivates people even more.”
