Clement: We Must Go Full Throttle

PHILIPPE CLEMENT believes Rangers must go full throttle from start to finish against St. Mirren as the Ibrox side return to league action on Sunday afternoon.

The Light Blues will look to park their Europa League exploits - where they will face Real Betis in their final group stage clash later this month - as they gear up for a busy period of domestic action.

Rangers will face ten games in three competitions across the next 31 days as Clement looks to continue his side's unbeaten run.

Speaking to the media to preview the visit of Stephen Robinson's men on Sunday, the Gers boss commented: "It's the first time that I've felt in the dressing room that they haven't been happy with their performance, which is a good thing [after last night's draw].

"But now we need to stand up on Sunday and show our best level and what we need to win the game.

"It's about not losing confidence for whatever reason and to go from the first second that the game starts to go full and get the three points."

Sunday's opponents are currently nestled in third place in the Scottish Premiership table after enjoying a promising first half of the campaign.

However, the Paisley side tasted defeat in Dingwall in midweek and have won only one of their last five games.

Clement also hopes to have Scott Wright back available from injury, with the 26-year-old having last featured in the side's 3-1 victory over Hearts in the Viaplay Cup semi-final.

He added: "I hope to get Scott [Wright] back, but I'm not sure about the rest.

"They [St. Mirren] will be a wall, attack with transitions and be good on set-pieces, like we have faced a lot of times in the league.

"It will not be a big difference in that way, and they will fight until they die.

"For them, a game against Rangers is the biggest game of the season."
