CONNOR BARRON has been called up to the Scotland squad for the first time ahead of the side’s crucial UEFA Nations League matches.
The midfielder has been rewarded for his impressive form since joining Rangers, where he has featured in every game under Philippe Clement.
He will join up with club teammate John Souttar in Steve Clarke’s squad ahead of Thursday evening’s clash against Poland at Hampden, before the side travel to face Portugal in Lisbon on Sunday.
