The 28-year-old centre half has been sensational for the Light Blues in 2020/21, playing in 56 games and over 5,000 minutes - and bagging eight goals.
He admits his side were perhaps lucky to keep yet another clean sheet today, with Aberdeen missing a couple of great opportunities to score, particularly in the second half.
But speaking to RangersTV post-match, Goldson had nothing but praise for his teammates and the remarkable consistency they have shown in the top flight over the past 10 months to become champions in record-breaking style.
He said: "I'm just so proud and a little bit emotional. The three years I have been here now, it's all been worth it for this moment today.
"Unfortunately it is without the fans but this moment and what we have achieved together this season, it has just been unbelievable.
"I think we were fortunate today to keep a clean sheet, but we got another one and to get the record for goals conceded [in a league season, 13], it's been amazing and we've broken records along the way. It's a team that will be spoken about for a long time."
25-year-old Glen Kamara and Joe Aribo, 24, joined Goldson during his RTV interview and the former Brighton stopper believes both midfielders have shown their class throughout the title-winning campaign.
He continued: "The players have been amazing and they can go on and achieve what they want. I just try to push them every single day and try to bring out the best in them."
Aribo added: "It's just been an incredible season. The boys all knew how important it was and I'm just proud we are able to get this success."
