Rangers welcome SSC Napoli to Glasgow as the Light Blues host their first Champions League group stage fixture since since 2010.
Speaking to the media ahead of the game, the Gers boss said: “The mood is good. We’ve been together now for a couple of days.
“We’ve had more training sessions and the time tomorrow is to perform. There is a chance to get a good result.
“Playing at home for us is a big difference.
“Being a Rangers manager or player, two defeats in a row are unacceptable. We go out tomorrow with the same philosophy and to try win the game.”
After suffering disappointment in their opening Group A fixture against Ajax in Amsterdam, van Bronckhorst is confident that his side will make the necessary improvements.
He continued: “You want to improve after every game, and improve all the things that you’re doing at the moment.
“Set-pieces is one of the areas that we didn’t do well against Ajax. We also conceded against PSV and we’ve given it more attention.
“I’m confident that the week we’ve had, the preparation, the experience of the game last week, that we’ll be in a much better place tomorrow.
“The feeling is good. There’s a time to perform and that’s tomorrow.”
