The Gers are back at home in the league for the first time in 2023 as they welcome the side top of the pile as they look to close the gap between themselves and first to three points with victory.
The Light Blues also have a game in hand on the league leaders but the midfielder has stated the importance of coming out on top in this weekend’s clash having drawn with the side earlier this season.
Speaking to RangersTV she said: “I think it is a very important game, especially for the confidence of the team and the supporters, the last game against them we didn’t take the points.
“We are just going to bring everything to the game and hope they we can actually celebrate a good game and win.”
The Finish international is confident the home side will know how their opposition will set up and hopes they can take the experience of their 1-1 draw on November 20 of last year to turn into a positive result.
She continued: “It was different to the previous games I had played in; I was expecting a good game and it was.
“It was an unlucky result, but I think now having already played against them once, we have the courage and the feeling of how they are going to play and how they are going to attack the game with us, we are going to be even more comfortable.”
The midfielder is hopeful the supporters will turn out in their numbers at Broadwood for the clash in similar fashion as they did for the Old Firm earlier in the season and she thinks home advantage could play a major part in getting them over the line.
She said: “It would be amazing, the support that we get is a big plus, and it feels like it is the 12th player on the pitch, we need all the support that we can get.
“It is always hard for the other teams to come to our home, we have a big pitch and we like to run, if we just keep the ball moving and continue to run then we will make it difficult for them.
“We just need to stick to our own game and not get frustrated, keep composed, score when we have the chance and finish with the quality that we have in the team and support each other.”
Having joined the club In July from Swedish club AIK Danielsson has reflected on her time in Glasgow so far and hopes he can keep pushing to strive for more success in the second half of the season.
She stated: “It has been amazing, the girls, the team, the staff and all the facilities that we have at the Training Centre give me the opportunity to get better.
“There have been injuries here and there, but they haven’t slowed me down at all, I feel good and confident with the team.
“I can continue to push myself a lot, the first six months was more settling in and getting to know the girls and how we play.
“I feel like I am taking in more information every single game when I get to play and especially getting to know the girls and how they play individually, so I have more to give.”
