Domestic duties resume for Rangers following the pause in action, with the German welcoming his host of international players back this week while also enjoying a strong training block with several players who remained in Glasgow.
The Gers host the Tannadice outfit, searching for their third successive victory at a stage in the season where three points are significant.
Speaking to the media this morning ahead of the visit of Jim Goodwin's side, Röhl said: "We're looking forward to this game. We want to take the next cup final win tomorrow.
"I have said this many times. It's normal after the international break, and it's also why I'll trust some players who were here because they trained the last two weeks together.
"It's a good feeling tomorrow, but the best feeling should be after the game when we win.
"We'll need to work hard, and we've played them twice this year where we haven't won.
"They did well against Celtic. We're prepared for tomorrow, and it'll be a challenge.
"They're fighting for the small chance to finish inside the top six, and we'll need a good performance."
Victory tomorrow would lift Rangers to the summit of the league standings.
It would be yet more cast-iron evidence of the side's progress since the German arrived, but Röhl says it's important that his team take it a step at a time.
He continued: "I was happy with both the result and performance against Aberdeen. It was a good atmosphere and a perfect ending before the international break.
"But now we know we need two more wins before the split, and then the last five games will be interesting.
"We need to take it step-by-step, and tomorrow we need the first step again.
"I see us really strong at the minute. We have confidence, and we need this. Tomorrow we need to make the next step."
Röhl is sure to have had his fingers and toes crossed as many of his squad jetted off on international duty over the last fortnight.
He is delighted to welcome Andreas Skov Olsen back after the Danish winger missed the clash against Aberdeen last time out, but he revealed that he has been dealt an injury blow in recent days.
He added: "The final decision will be tomorrow. We have some small issues and one big issue.
"There will be a player out tomorrow, but I won't speak today who it is. It happens in football.
"Unfortunately, it will be a little bit longer. Hopefully, he comes back before the split, but it looks more like he'll come back during the split.
"Andreas Skov Olsen is back; he's trained the last two weeks in a row.
"We have to find a good balance between freshness. If you play game-by-game in seven days, then normally, after this performance against Aberdeen, you won't change too much.
"But a lot of players played, trained, and travelled a lot. I have to look at all these things.
"I'm convinced we'll have fresh players on the pitch."
