Speaking to the media ahead of the Gers’ next clash, the defender hopes the side can head into the break on another win and continue the level of performances they have shown of late in the league.
He said: “I think that was important to get back to the league form straight away and we have managed to do that, we have just picked up where we left off which was what we were aiming to do and the most recent win in the league was a good performance.
“We are just focusing on ourselves and trying to get a win on Saturday and take us into the international break in good form.”
The 27-year-old has praised the team for their last showing on their travels in the 4-1 victory over Hibs and wants the side to produce another big 90 minutes as they make the short trip to North Lanarkshire.
Davies added: “The flow in the Hibs game was good, it was a strong performance from us, obviously it is the last one of the batch of fixtures before the break so we need one big 90 minutes and I think if we perform to our levels we can win the game and move on.”
The centre-back feels he is now settled into the Rangers side in which he has formed a solid partnership with fellow defender Connor Goldson and hopes he can continue to show what he can do on the pitch moving forward.
He continued: “I think that I always knew once I got minutes and game time that I could settle into the team, it was obviously frustrating for the first six months because I have kind of had to deal with not having a full pre-season for the last two or three years and it has hampered each season of mine.
“It is good to get in and playing and I feel comfortable, when you first get into the team you just want to kind of go under the radar and not mistakes and just play steady and then you can build from there.
“I feel like I am at the stage now where I can show a bit more of what I can do and I have got that reassurance that my fitness is going to be fine.”
