The young Gers first face Atletico Madrid in their UEFA Youth League play-off at Firhill tomorrow afternoon, before heading to Inverness on Sunday for the semi-final of the Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer Cup.
The midfielder is expecting one of the toughest challenges this season from the Spanish outfit as they head into the one-off tie.
Speaking to RangersTV, he said: “It is going to be a big challenge against Atletico Madrid but there’s a real energy in the building.
This year has been the club’s debut appearance in the UEFA Youth League, and one which Dickson has enjoyed.
He continued: ““It has been a challenge for me personally and for the team but it is a good learning curve for us all.
“I think playing in these games is good for our development as players and we can learn what we can do better and as I say push forward, for example we have got the Inverness game coming up against men so some of the things we learn we can hopefully take into that game.
“There’s a good energy, everything is positive, there’s no negatives. Hopefully it is a big turnout so me and the lads can showcase what we can do and make the fans happy.”
