The midfielder says it has always been his ambition the play in these kinds of fixtures and hopes Rangers can continue their journey in the qualifiers with a big performance tomorrow evening.
Gers head to Athens with a two-goal advantage thanks to an impressive display at Ibrox last Tuesday night.
Looking ahead to tomorrow’s fixture at the pre-match press conference, Diomande said: “We have been preparing well, and we are ready to do that again tomorrow night.
“There are a lot of players who have played in these situations before and I know a lot of us are used to these kinds of environments, so I don’t think it adds pressure on us.
“I know our fans are going to be loud and that is going to push us.
“We just have to stick to our plan, and that is what the coach has taught us and we are going to give our best.
“For me it is a dream because growing up I always wanted to play in big competitions, in Champions League and Europa League and now I have a chance to show myself.
“Also, I have people watching me back home and I am just happy to play in this competition, and I hope we can get the result we want and be in the next round.”
On what it has been like under head coach Russell Martin and his staff since they joined in the summer, Diomande added: “It has been amazing, I want to be on the ball a lot and I am happy that he is bringing his ideas. I want to grow as a player, and I am happy that they can help me.
“In my time at Rangers I have learned to be tough mentally, I know Ibrox is not an easy place but I have been here one year now and it really helped me to be to become better and I am just happy to be able to play a lot of football and we will be dominating a lot.
“I am already trying to help some of the new players as much as I can and I really hope they can shine under the new gaffer too.”
Tomorrow night's match is live on RangersTV outside of the UK and Greece!
A pair of spectacular second half strikes from Academy graduate Findlay Curtis and summer signing Djeidi Gassama certainly made Russell Martin’s European bow as Head Coach a memorable one seven days ago.
The Olympic Stadium in Athens is the stage for Wednesday evening’s second act, and for those outside of the UK and Greece the match is available to purchase here.
Tom Miller will be joined on commentary by former midfielder Graham Dorrans, who played an important role in helping return European group stage football to the Gers under the tutelage of Steven Gerrard in 2018.
The match will also be broadcast live on BBC One Scotland and BBC iPlayer inside the UK, with kick-off 7pm.
