The Gers academy graduate continues to make impressive strides amongst the ranks in what has been a real breakthrough season in the side. She started both league outings in the calendar month, with Rangers taking three vital points in their home match against Hibs, where she provided an assist for the opener, before featuring in the 1-1 away draw with Glasgow City.
Claiming the award for the first time in her career, elsewhere the 20-year-old also started in the Light Blues’ Scottish Cup match against Kilmarnock, where she provided both a goal and an assist as she continued her fine form at the start of 2026.
Speaking after being named the league’s standout performer for the month, Austin commented: “It feels really good, especially when it's other clubs in the league who have voted. For them to recognise that is really good and it's an honour.
“The league is only growing, and the standard is getting higher, so for me to even be nominated is great.”
