The exciting young winger will spend the campaign under the guidance of Leanne Crichton after progressing through the academy ranks at Chelsea.
She arrives in Glasgow determined to make an immediate impact in a Rangers jersey and challenge for honours in the season ahead.
Speaking to RangersTV in her first interview after making the move until the end of the season, Hendle commented: “I’m feeling really excited for the opportunity this season, and I’m happy to be here.
“I was shocked, and it happened quite quickly. I had a call with Donald [Gillies] and Leanne, and it was all really positive.
“The team wants to win, and the club has a great history. We’re going to have a lot of the ball, which suits my style of play, and there will be opportunities for me as a player to play down both the left and the right.
“It’s massive to play in the Champions League, and I never thought I would be able to play in such a big game at a young age. I’m really looking forward to it, and I think everyone is.
“I want to play and show what I can do. Hopefully we can win things as a team and develop.”
Hendle was part of the Chelsea first-team squad in their pre-season tour of the Netherlands in 2025, where she featured in a couple of friendly encounters.
It was a fitting next step in her development after impressing through the youth ranks at the west London outfit, and she admits that the experience only served to enhance her development.
Hendle continued: “Ever since I’ve been [at Chelsea] I’ve enjoyed it. The girls have been great, and I’ve made friends for life.
“What was the first-team experience like? It was quite scary, to be honest! The demand and qualities are really high, but I just had to adapt as quickly as I could and work hard.
“I think it’s just about learning in every single drill where everything needs to be 100 per cent and taking that mentality.
“I’ve also learned how to communicate as well because it’s quite loud and everyone is talking.”
Hendle counts May Cruft among her teammates at England youth level, and she revealed Cruft was “excited” upon learning that Rangers was the next destination in the winger’s career.
For Hendle, who only turned 18 earlier this year, it is a big step in her fledgling career, but she admits she’s excited to learn under Crichton and contribute towards the side’s push for success this campaign.
She added: “Leanne? She’s a vocal coach and has very high detail. I’m excited to learn a lot from her this season.
“It’ll be a great opportunity to play first-team football, but there’s also huge expectations to win things.
“I’ve never lived away from home, but I’ve made some good friends with the girls here already, and that’s been really helpful.”
