Rush will manage the Reds, assisted by John Aldridge and Gers current assistant manager Gary McAllister, at 3pm tomorrow and he’s looking forward to the match.
Speaking to preview the game, Rush said: “Without a doubt you will see attacking football from the two legends sides today, that’s what we are here for.
“The most important thing is that the fans go away saying ‘I enjoyed that game’, so on that note have a great day here at Ibrox.”
Rush has kept a keen eye on events at Rangers since former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard took the reigns last summer.
From what he’s seen of the Gers last season and this, with the Light Blues sat at the top of the table, he’s been impressed: “Gerrard has been great as a manager so far.

Supporters will be able to pay at the gate for tomorrow’s all-star legends match at Ibrox.
The glamour tie will see stars of the past from both Rangers and Liverpool take to the field, with Gers boss Steven Gerrard featuring for both sides.
Tickets for the game are priced at just £15 for adults, £10 for concessions and £5 juniors and supporters will be able to pay at the gate at the Copland Rear turnstiles.
The match kicks off at 3:00pm so get along early to avoid missing any of the action!
