The Light Blues will welcome David Martindale’s side to Ibrox tomorrow night and the Ger says the squad need to push on to gain a positive result.
Speaking to the press ahead of the match, he said: “I think that we just have to keep doing what we are doing, there is not much to change. I think that all the teams we have played in the past are doing the same thing and playing with a low block. We’ll just keep on doing what we’ve been doing in the past, we have very good high-quality players to get the results.
“We are ready for the game and prepared to give the boss what he wants and the results that the fans want. We are ready to fight for the result tomorrow.”
The Light Blue expressed his excitement to welcome Joe Aribo back into the squad following his return from AFCON and outlined the importance to deliver the result.
He added: “[Aribo] is one of the most important players for the squad, it will be very nice to have him back. It’s sad that they got knocked out but at the same time, it’s good news for us because we are happy to have him. He’s always there and a very good guy to have in the squad, he brings the positive energy. It will be good to have him for tomorrow because we know what to expect from him.
“We will miss [Morelos] for sure, but we have to deliver and help the team to get the result tomorrow.”
Sakala outlined the continual level of support and encouragement throughout the team as he looks to keep improving at the club.
He said: “It’s always nice to have people like Roy MaKaay. He’s experienced, and I’ve been learning a lot. He’s always there for me and gives me video training after group training, I’m having a very good time with him and I’m happy to have him in my career, it’s a great honour to work with such kinds of people – I believe that I will learn a lot from him.
“We are always there to push each other in training and for games, the good thing about us is that even if we don’t go on to play, we are always there to motivate and encourage one another. It’s really important for us to deliver tomorrow.”
