The Gers defence put on an impressive showing throughout as they limited last season’s title winners to few chances as the away side ran out 2-0 winners at Petershill Park.
Speaking to RangersTV after the match the goalkeeper feels denying the opposition was huge as she praised the team for their dominant display.
She said: “You are always looking to get a clean sheet, especially in games like this. Obviously I am delighted for myself and the backline and the rest of the players to score two goals but to keep a clean sheet and get the three points it is brilliant.
“I thought we were excellent; I think we dominated the game from start to finish. Obviously City had their spells but to come out with a 2-0 win against a team like City it is really good for us.”
The 27-year-old feels the timing of the first goal played a huge part in the outcome as Rio Hardy converted from the spot on the stroke of half time to send the Light Blues on their way as they controlled the second 45 minutes on their way to an 11th straight win in all competitions.
She continued: “It is always important to get a goal before half time. I think we deserved it; I think we dominated the first half especially and that goal we totally deserved so we were delighted to go in 1-0 and we just needed to take that momentum into the second half and we did that.
“We all know how good a team City are. We knew it was going to be a tough test coming here, we knew it wasn't going to be easy but we had to fight and we did that, to get three points away from home is really good so it puts us in a good position in the league.
Rangers now turn their attention to a home fixture in the SWPL against Montrose this Sunday and Fife says full focus is now on that game as they Gers look to head into the international break on a high.
She added: “This is the momentum we need. We have not lost a game yet this season so we want to continue that. Montrose will be another hard game but we will go into that with a new focus and hopefully another three points.”
