Five Changes For Team To Face Killie

STEVEN GERRARD has made five changes to his starting eleven for today’s Scottish Premiership match against Kilmarnock.

Filip Helander, Ryan Jack, Joe Aribo, Cedric Itten and Alfredo Morelos return to the Rangers team to face Alex Dyer’s side at Rugby Park, replacing Leon Balogun, Glen Kamara, Steven Davis, Ianis Hagi and Kemar Roofe after they started Thursday night’s Europa League Group D match against Lech Poznan at Ibrox.

Following that 1-0 midweek victory, with super sub Morelos getting the only goal of the game with a stunning header on 67 minutes, the Light Blues will be looking to increase their impressive unbeaten run in 2020/21 to 18 games in Ayrshire, with 15 wins and 14 clean sheets recorded so far.

Allan McGregor will make his tenth appearance of the season today and in front of the Gers number one is a back four featuring captain James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Helander and Borna Barisic.

Jack, Aribo and Scott Arfield make up the midfield three in the engine room and in front of them is the attacking trio of Itten, who makes his third start for the Gers, Morelos and Ryan Kent.

Joining Balogun, Kamara, Davis, Hagi and Roofe on the visitors’ bench this afternoon are goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin, Calvin Bassey, Jermain Defoe and Brandon Barker.
