Staevnet Copenhagen Viking Boat 1950 – Rangers travelled to Denmark in 1950 on a short Scandanavian tour and defeated a combined Copenhagen XI by 2-0. Willie Findlay opened the scoring just inside the half hour and a Willie Thornton goal just before the end of the game.
Brondby Pennant 1995 – Rangers took on Brondby in a friendly during a pre-season tour of Denmark in July 1995, with the Light Blues winning 2-1, thanks to goals from Mark Hateley and Paul Gascoigne. The match was played in Grenaa, more than 350 kilometres from Brondby’s Copenhagen home.
Copenhagen Vases 2003 – The Gers travelled to Copenhagen again in 2003 in UEFA Champions League third round qualification action and were 2-1 winners thanks to a penalty from Mikel Arteta and a goal from Shota Arveladze.
FC Midjtylland Wolf Etching Glass Plaque – Steven Gerrard took his side to Herning in Denmark in 2019 for a UEFA Europa League qualifying match and in an entertaining game, the Light Blues ran out 4-2 winners with goals from Alfredo Morelos, Joe Aribo, Nikola Katic and Scott Arfield.
