Their places are taken in the XI tonight by Jon McLaughlin, the returning James Tavernier, starting debutant Jack Simpson, Ianis Hagi, Kemar Roofe, Scott Wright and Cedric Itten.
That means it’s a back five of McLaughlin in goal with Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Simpson and Borna Barisic in front of him.

Steven Davis, Glen Kamara, Hagi, Wright, Roofe and Itten complete the XI this evening.
All seven of McGregor, Helander, Kent, Patterson, Aribo, Morelos and Arfield make the bench tonight, and they are joined there by Calvin Bassey and Jermain Defoe.
