With a 2-2 draw there earlier in the season, the manager says Rangers can learn a lot from previous results against Hibs.
Speaking to the media at the pre-match press conference this morning, he said: “Easter Road is always a tough challenge and probably one of the toughest away fixtures you can get in the schedule.
“They are a good team, they've got good players and a good manager. I think our performances have been really good at Easter Road and maybe we haven't got the results we deserved.
“We have had a couple of draws there where we have had double figures in terms of chances to win the game so we have actually been a little bit frustrated and disappointed in the outcome of them.
“There's certainly a lot to learn from in terms of our results that we have had previously but I can't fault the performances overall because I think we deserved more than what we got if you analyse the games.”
Gerrard hopes his side can continue to be a threat from set-pieces as he praised the players’ hunger and desire in those situations.
With two goals scored from corners on Saturday, he says the squad have bought into the preparation under Technical Coach Tom Culshaw.
He continued: “I think we have got to pay credit to the players, I think they have got a real hunger and desire about us in terms of going and wanting to attack at set-pieces. In terms of the attacking set pieces we have got invention and we have got variety.
“The players have really bought into it. Sometimes preparing and practising set-pieces can be a bit of a slog because it is very stand still and there is a lot of information but credit to the players and credit to Tom.
“I have been very pleased and I want that to continue from now until the end of the season. At the same time I want us to be as strong as we can and put our bodies on the line to defend our box and defend Allan and John as much as we can.”
A regular in the starting XI in recent weeks, Gerrard said the coaching staff are pleased with the progress of Ianis Hagi.
He continued: “We are really happy with Ianis, he is a student of the game, he is always looking at areas to improve whether that be from a physical point of view, tactically or technically.
“He is someone you have to drag in off the training ground. He is always in the analysis department, he's never out of the gym so he is an absolute dream to work with and he is very low maintenance.
“We are delighted with how he is developing and progressing, we are delighted to have him here but he is one that we are supporting and still trying to push in all kinds of different areas to keep him evolving and growing because we still think there's more to come and that's the exciting part. He has really delivered in terms of his contribution recently”
