Borna Barisic, Leon Balogun, Glen Kamara, Scott Arfield and Kemar Roofe all come into the side this evening, replacing Calvin Bassey, Filip Helander, Ryan Jack, Joe Aribo and Jermain Defoe who all started Sunday’s SPFL Premiership game against Livingston.
That means Allan McGregor makes his 80th appearance in Europe for the Gers and in front of the club’s number one will be a back four of captain James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Balogun and Barisic.
Joining Kamara and Arfield - and providing experience and energy in the three-man midfield - is Steven Davis, with Kemar Roofe getting the nod to spearhead the attack and Ianis Hagi and Ryan Kent alongside the former Anderlecht frontman.
Zungu only trained with the Gers squad for the first time yesterday after a spell in quarantine, but tonight he is one of twelve substitutes with the others being McLaughlin, Bassey, Helander, Jack, Itten, Patterson, Aribo, Morelos, Barker, Stewart, Barjonas
