Gerrard Names Team To Face Ross County With Two Changes

STEVEN GERRARD has named two changes to his Rangers side for this afternoon’s Scottish Premiership clash at Ross County.

From the side which twice came from behind to defeat Standard Liege 3-2 on Thursday night to qualify for the Europa League knockout stages, Calvin Bassey and Joe Aribo come in for Borna Barisic and Scott Arfield.

That means it’s a back five today of Allan McGregor in goals with skipper James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Leon Balogun and Bassey in front of him.

In midfield, Aribo is next to Steven Davis and Glen Kamara while up-front, Kemar Roofe and Ryan Kent will support Alfredo Morelos.

Once again, boss Gerrard has a number of strong options to choose from on his bench. There today alongside Barisic and Arfield are Jon McLaughlin, Ianis Hagi, Jermain Defoe, Cedric Itten, Bongani Zungu, Brandon Barker and Nathan Patterson.
