RANGERS contested their second pre-season friendly with a behind-closed-doors fixture against Newcastle United yesterday afternoon.
Preparations on the pitch continued for Leanne Crichton’s side, as their return to competitive action edges ever close in just over two weeks’ time.
There were further minutes for all summer arrivals in the North East, as they all gained valuable game time and continue to settle into the squad.
The Gers will take on newly promoted WSL side Birmingham City, in Birmingham, in their final pre-season outing. Again behind-closed-doors, where they will ready themselves for their Champions League second round qualifier against Slavia Prague on Wednesday, August 5, with ticketing information for that fixture to be confirmed in due course.
