RANGERS rounded-off their training camp in Spain with a closed-door friendly against Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) this evening.
With high temperatures in La Nucia, it was another strong test for McInnes’ men as they came up against the Malaysian Super League champions.
Tochi Chukwuani found the target twice in the second-half as Gers came from behind to draw 2-2.
Djeidi Gassama came closest to the target for Rangers in the first-half, with JDT hitting the post in their best chance before the break.
The Malaysian side scored twice in the opening three minutes of the second-half, before Emmanuel Fernandez headed over an opportunity for Rangers.
With 30 minutes remaining, Tochi Chukwuani fired home a powerful strike from inside the box, after a cross from Ross McCrorie.
It was a good response from Rangers, and Chukwuani drew the game level with a fine strike from outside the box.
Next up for McInnes’ side is a first friendly match at Ibrox on Wednesday evening against AS Saint-Étienne.
