The Light Blues host the Edinburgh side this weekend and van Bronckhorst said the squad are together as they prepare for the challenge ahead.
Speaking to the media at this afternoon’s pre-match press conference, he said: “This is still a group who are together, they have proved they can bounce back from disappointment in the past and that is what we have to do on Sunday.
“In the games we played since we came here, the back four were very stable, determined and we didn't concede a lot of goals so that was really good but in the last two games we have given away too many easy goals.
“We have to improve on that, we have to make sure we bring back determination in the back line but also the players in front of that need to do everything to block the goals and that is the mentality we need to have.”
Rangers will welcome back Alfredo Morelos from international duty with Colombia, while new signing Aaron Ramsey has continued to train ahead of Sunday’s match.
Van Bronckhorst continued: “Alfredo came back late last night but he trained as normal today so he will be available for Sunday.
“The only players who are not available at the moment are Ianis Hagi and Filip Helander but everyone else is available. Aaron Ramsey had a really good session today and we will assess him tomorrow.
“Leon [Balogun] has been out of the team and he just came back a couple of weeks ago but he showed on Wednesday how strong he is and how valuable he can be in the squad, the same for Ryan Jack.
“He is another player who is very valuable and important for this team but is also coming back from injury. It is not always easy to have those players out especially when they come back and you see what they can bring.”
