One of those subs, Scott Arfield grabbed the equaliser ahead of James Tavernier’s winner, with the other three replacements all having a positive impact in turning the game in Gers’ favour.
Van Bronckhorst told RangersTV: "Very much so and it was very positive. James Sands came into the back, Ryan Jack had a good influence, Scotty got the goal and also brought so much energy, and Malik [Tillman] in the second half played really well in-between the lines and he was always very strong on the ball.
"We have a big squad and every time we change now we can give something extra or create something, and I am really pleased with the subs today.
"The start wasn't good at all to concede a goal so early in the game and in a moment we knew that they were very dangerous at.
"We weren't very sharp in that moment, and after that, we weren't ourselves and I think the goal against us took us a little bit out of the game with our positioning, our passing, with our movements and our spaces to exploit at the right times.
"In the second half, we changed it a little bit and we were much better in those moments and created a lot of chances to eventually win the game."
Van Bronckhorst also cast an eye to Tuesday’s Champions League qualifier, where he could be able to count on even more bodies.
He added: "We have Ridvan Yilmaz training with us tomorrow, Rabbi Matondo as well and Alfredo Morelos has already been training for a couple of days in parts of the training.
"We can take a bigger squad in Europe so we have more players to choose from and need to see if those players are fit enough to travel."
