RANGERS Academy are today pleased to announce that Greig Thackray has signed a contract extension.
The goalkeeper, 17, has progressed through the club's youth ranks to the Under-19s set-up.
He featured in the side’s Glasgow Cup winning campaign last season while also appearing throughout the Under-18s’ league exploits.
Speaking after signing his contract extension, the youngster commented: “It’s a brilliant feeling for me and I’m excited for the season ahead.
“I have been at the club since I was a young boy and the coaches here bring out the best in me, so I’m looking forward to continuing my progress as a goalkeeper.”
