Despite the busy calendar, the Romania international insists full focus is on tomorrow evening’s Scottish Premiership match against Livingston.
Speaking to the media ahead of the game, he said: “The most important thing is to have the same mentality as we have had the entire season.
“We need to look at the next game against Livingston and try and get the job done, get the three points and then get back into training so that is our mentality over the next few weeks.
“I think everybody knows what position we are in right now and you know how close you are to achieving something great but our mentality since the beginning of the season is to look at the next game and to play as good as we can.”
Following last week’s impressive attacking display against Royal Antwerp, manager Steven Gerrard was full of praise for his front three of Ianis Hagi, Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent.
When asked about linking-up with his fellow forward players, Hagi said: “I think the most beautiful thing is that we are all different as attackers, everybody has their own qualities so that makes us really unpredictable.
“Obviously we would like to build on that performance and try to keep up that type of performance when the team needs us. We are so different but we understand each other so well.
“When you are happy and you go out on the pitch you give your best and I am really enjoying my football lately.
“We are getting closer to the end of the season and games come with pressure and it is the type of football I love.
“I think that has a role to play in my enjoyment but when the team is playing really well and we are winning I can't not enjoy the football we are playing and I am playing right now.
“I think the players who came in have joined with that mentality of always trying to push themselves, always trying to play in the starting eleven and I think that competitiveness makes us better as a group because we always try to push ourselves even although we don't realise it.
“The staff and everyone surrounding the team do an unbelievable job and there are a lot of small details that people don't know but it just makes the group grow.
“I think right now everything that was built the last couple of years at Rangers you can see now how much work we have done.”
