A number of players saw action to varying degrees of success, with all of them now returning to the Rangers Training Centre to prepare for the visit of Aberdeen to Ibrox on Sunday.

Colombia:
Friday 13 November: Colombia 0-3 Uruguay – 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers
Tuesday 17 November: Ecuador 6-1 Colombia – 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers
Alfredo came off the bench for Colombia in their 3-0 defeat to Uruguay on Friday before being an unused sub as they were defeated 6-1 by Ecuador on Tuesday.
That leaves Colombia seventh in the 10-team 2022 World Cup qualifying South America group after four games and with work to do.
Croatia:
Wednesday 11 November: Turkey 3-3 Croatia - Friendly
Saturday 14 November: Sweden 2-1 Croatia – UEFA Nations League League A
Tuesday 17 November: Croatia 2-3 Portugal – UEFA Nations League League A
After watching a much-changed Croatia face Turkey in a friendly last Wednesday, Borna was back in for his nation on Saturday as they travelled to face Fil Helander’s Sweden.
Unfortunately for Borna, they fell to a 2-1 defeat there, before he was an unused sub for their final game at home to Portugal, where a late winner consigned them to a 3-2 defeat.
Despite those defeats, a better goal difference to fourth-placed Sweden prevented them being relegated to League B for the next edition of the Nations League.
Finland:
Wednesday 11 November: France 0-2 Finland – Friendly
Sunday 15 November: Bulgaria 1-2 Finland – UEFA Nations League B
Wednesday 18 November: Wales 3-1 Finland – UEFA Nations League B
Glen came off the bench firstly last Wednesday to help Euro 2020-bound Finland claim a notable friendly victory by beating World Champions France away from home.
He followed that by playing the full 90 against Bulgaria in a good away win and a defeat away to Wales both in the Nations League.
Victory in Cardiff over the Welsh would have sealed promotion for the Finns to League A, but in the end, they had to settle for second spot.
Nigeria: and
Friday 13 November: Nigeria 4-4 Sierra Leone – AFCON Qualifiers
Monday 16 November: Sierra Leone 0-0 Nigeria
Joe played 90 minutes and Leon 62 as Nigeria let slip a 4-0 lead to draw 4-4 with Sierra Leone. Indeed, Nigeria were 4-1 to the good when Leon left the field.
The followed that with a 0-0 draw in the reverse fixture with Leon playing 90 minutes and Joe 80.
Nigeria remain top of their qualifying group with two games to go.
Northern Ireland:
Thursday 12 November: Northern Ireland 1-2 Slovakia (AET) – UEFA Euro 2020 PO
Sunday 15 November: Austria 2-1 Northern Ireland – UEFA Nations League B
Wednesday 18 November: Northern Ireland 1-1 Romania – UEFA Nations League B
Steven started Northern Ireland’s Euro play-off final defeat to Slovakia last Thursday, where after pulling level late in normal time, they went down 2-1 in extra time to deny them a second consecutive place at the tournament.
He then came off the bench for their 2-1 defeat to Austria in the Nations League on Sunday before departing the squad for personal reasons ahead of the match with Romania last night.
Results in this year’s Nations League mean Northern Ireland will drop to League C for the next edition.
Northern Ireland under-21: Chris McKee and Daniel Finlayson
Tuesday 17 November: Ukraine U21 3-0 Northern Ireland - UEFA Euro Under-21 qualifiers
Both Chris and Daniel remained on the bench for Northern Ireland’s final qualifying match away to Ukraine.
This was Chris’ first call-up for the under-21 squad.
Romania U21:
Tuesday 17 November: Romania U21 1-1 Denmark U21 – UEFA Euro Under-21 qualifying
Ianis captained Romania’s under-21s to their second successive under-21 Euros as they got the result they needed to finish as one of the best runners-up to take them through to next year’s tournament.

Thursday 12 November: Serbia 1-1 Scotland (4-5 pens) – Euro 2020 PO
Sunday 15 November: Slovakia 1-0 Scotland – UEFA Nations League B
Wednesday 18 November: Israel 1-0 Scotland – UEFA Nations League B
Ryan was outstanding for Scotland in Serbia last Thursday to send them through to the Euros – their first major tournament in 23 years.
A much-changed Scotland then lost 1-0 to Slovakia on Sunday with Jack on the bench before he came back in as they were beaten 1-0 in Israel last night.
The latter two results means Scotland miss out on promotion to League A, and will remain in League B for the next Nations League.
Scotland U21: Robby McCrorie, Brian Kinnear, , , Kai Kennedy, Ross McCrorie, .
Thursday 12 November: Scotland U21 2-2 Croatia
Tuesday 17 November: Greece 1-0 Scotland
Scotland missed out on qualification for the under-21 Euros following a home draw with Croatia and an away defeat at Greece.
Glenn Middleton, Nathan Patterson and Ross McCrorie were all involved against Croatia, where Middleton was on target to help the Scots come back from two goals down.
Middleton and McCrorie were then involved in Tuesday in Athens, where victory would have taken Scotland through, but unfortunately, they fell to a 1-0 reverse.
South Africa:
Friday 13th November: South Africa 2-0 Sao Tome and Principe – AFCON Qualifiers
Monday 16th November: Sao Tome and Principe 2-4 South Africa – AFCON Qualifiers
Bongani was back in the South Africa squad and scored in their 2-0 win over Sao Tome and Principe on Friday.
He followed that with a start in their 4-2 win in the reverse fixture to keep them on-course for the next African Cup of Nations.
Sweden:
Wednesday 11 November – Denmark 2-0 Sweden - Friendly
Saturday 14 November – Sweden 2-1 Croatia – UEFA Nations League A
Tuesday 17 November – Sweden 4-2 Croatia – UEFA Nations League A
After sitting out their friendly with Denmark last week due to the UK’s ban on travel to Denmark, Fil was an unused sub against Borna Barisic’s Croatia before coming on late-on against France on Tuesday.
Fil played the final third against France as they were relegated to League B of the Nations League by just a single goal.
