Dallas scored the opening goal in the game after just nine minutes before Jamie Barjonas netted a second-half strike to seal the win.
Speaking to RangersTV after the game, he said: “They were a good physical team and we knew it was going to be a good test before the game.
“We had a couple of good results so we were confident going into the game and then we got the first goal and we took a bit of confidence from that and then got the other and we managed to hold the game out and all round I think it was a good performance.”
The striker scored after just nine minutes before missing a chance to double his tally as he diverted the ball over the bar from close range.
He said: “The goal was with my left foot, it just kind of broke to me and then luckily enough I stuck it away and then I had the chance which is going to keep me awake tonight.
“When we were warming up and looking across you could see there were a couple of big guys but that is the challenges we are going to have to face at different points in our career they had a big guy up front and I was up against two big defenders so it’s the challenges we need to face and I felt like I done alright and played quite well and the two centre backs dealt with the big guy up front as well.”
Dallas has been enjoying pre-season so far, he added:
“It has been a lot easier for me because I’ve been scoring a couple of goals so that always keeps me going and keeps me motivated.”
