All three goals came in the first-half, and the midfielder said a positive start was the aim of the squad heading into the game.
Speaking to RangersTV at full-time, he said: “We are just delighted, we spoke all week in training about starting the game well and starting positively and trying to bring the fans with us.
“I thought we played well, we played some good stuff and got some great goals. We came off it a bit in the second-half and we conceded a sloppy goal from our point of view but in the end we controlled the game.
“What we had worked on was could we start quick, start fast and try and get a couple of goals early on to try and settle ourselves and settle the fans. I thought we did that and in the first-half I thought we played really well.”
Jack started in midfield alongside new signings Nicolas Raskin and Todd Cantwell and is enjoying the competition in the middle of the park.
He continued: “It was good, I have always said it, we have got great options in midfield throughout the squad. When you get the chance you have got to try and play well and try and grab it and I thought first-half especially we all combined well and created chances.
“Todd and Nico both played well, and it is about building those relationships, they are two new players who have come into the club and for us we need to try and build relationships and I'm sure that will improve going forward.”
Looking ahead to Wednesday evening’s match against Hibs, Jack continued: “It is a big week for us, Hibs on Wednesday night away from home is a tough venue and a tough game, they'll be up for it.
“We then have the Scottish Cup next weekend, so it is a big week for us and it is important we go and get two big wins.”
