The striker had to watch the 2-0 win over Hibernian in December 2022 from the sidelines as she continued her fightback from a serious ACL injury.
Now she is determined to play her part as Jo Potter’s side look to lift the first silverware of the season against Partick Thistle at Tynecastle on Sunday.
Speaking to RangersTV, she said: “I am enjoying being back in the squad again and being available to contribute to the games whatever way I can.
“This is why I worked so hard. When you are sitting on the sidelines and not being able to take part and contribute it is hard.
“You have tough moments and tough sessions to do, but in the back of your mind you have the motivation of being back on the pitch and playing in games like Sunday.
“I love playing football and to be back part of the group, I am really enjoying it.
“We are excited and looking forward to the final. As players you want to be playing in the big occasions like a cup final and it is something for us all to look forward to.
“Being part of Rangers, the goal and the target, is to be winning things and bringing silverware to the club.
“We are looking forward to Sunday and trying to win the first trophy of the season.”
The Light Blues drew 0-0 with the Jags in their SWPL clash at Petershill in the last meeting between the two sides in February.
Ross is well aware Brian Graham’s team will relish the prospect of causing an upset in their first ever final.
But the Scotland international insists the Gers are fully focused on getting the outcome they want.
She added: “There is no doubt this will be a challenging game. Partick Thistle are going to be up for it - it is a cup final after all.
“But we know what our strengths are as a team and we are well aware of what we need to do and how we need to perform to get the result we want.”
