The striker, who will begin her fourth season at the club in the new campaign, put pen to paper on a one-year extension to continue her career with the Light Blues.
Speaking to RangersTV after committing her future, the 34-year-old has spoken of the factors behind her decision to stay and has encouraged the team to keep building from the last 12 months.
She said: “We obviously want to keep pushing on.
“We can see the progress we made last season and then having Champions League this season as well is going to be exciting to be a part of.
“They are definitely factors and reasons for me to be staying.
“It is obviously a competition that is great to be a part of, I think to be on the European stage as a club is fantastic and it will be a good challenge for us.
“It is a great environment to be a part of. You are obviously pushed as a player and challenged every day to be the best version of yourself and I think it can only be good for the team to be in that kind of environment.”
Ross has reflected on her journey at the club so far having joined the Gers back in 2021, as she feels there is determination in the camp to claim back the title in the new season.
She continued: “The first season when we won the league that was very special.
“I had a year and a half challenge with the injury, which I was happy to obviously get through and to make it back onto the pitch in December last year.
“I think going on to win the two trophies last year, which were high points and then disappointing to just miss out on the league but hopefully we can put that right this season.”
The forward has spoken on the impact head coach Jo Potter has had on the side in her first season in charge, as she feels the teams recent return to pre-season will be a chance for the squad to gel with the new signings that have come through the door.
She added: “Jo has been great for the team and the club.
“I think she has brought in with her own philosophy and own way of playing.
“Everyone feels challenged as a player and you can the performances on the pitch they are enjoyable to be a part of, they were obviously big factors for me.
“Pre-season it is a good time to kind of integrate players and to get to know new teammates and to get the connections on the pitch as well.
“I am sure that the people that have come in are going to fit in well with the group and will bring something on the pitch.”
