The Light Blues responded to an early setback in impressive fashion with hat-trick’s for Kirsty Howat and Rio Hardy as well as strikes from Kirsty Maclean and Tessel Middag as they showed a clinical edge in front of goal at Foundation Park.
Speaking to RangersTV after the game the assistant coach was happy with how the team made the most of the opportunities they created to claim a second win in a row.
She said: “We have to be ruthless; we have to stay in games and we have to take the game away from teams and when we have got them on the ropes. Keep going and keep playing our way, that is going to be the difference for us moving forward and today I thought we demonstrated that really well.
“I think that is the most clinical we have been. I thought we scored some really good goals, some good individual moments but some really good team collective moments as well, so all in all really pleased.”
The Gers found the back of the net with strikes of real quality on several occasions throughout the contest and Bradford was happy with the composure the team showed as they responded to going behind early.
She continued: “There was just really good quality in front of goal, not snatching at things, just really good composure in those moments which if we want to win things that is going to be the difference for us.
“We weren’t set up properly for their goal, it is a good strike in fairness to her. We need to be better in those moments and we need to eradicate those moments moving forward, but in terms of our response and stepping into the game and then really taking the game away from Dundee I thought we did that really well”.
The Light Blues now prepare for a quick turnaround as they take on Motherwell on Wednesday nightand the assistant says full focus now turns to that match as they look to build on their impressive display.
She added: “It is going to be a tough week but it is a tough week for the whole league. We have to prepare and come in tomorrow, do our detail and our work and hopefully get the reward on Wednesday.”
