Just three days on from being in the capital in their defeat to Hearts, the Light Blues are back in league action, with the split fixtures coming thick and fast for the squad.
Speaking to the official club website to preview the clash at Meadowbank, the goalkeeper said: “I think this is just a perfect opportunity to bounce back.
“It always is when you have games like that game on Sunday, you just want the next game to come, and thankfully, we have not had to wait a week, we've only had to wait three days.
“That is just the nature of football as well; nothing is ever perfect.
“You need to go again, and it is about being relentless and going again.
“We know nothing is won or lost at this stage of the season, especially in the split, so we just need to focus on ourselves, and we'll be looking to get three points the rest of this week.”
The shot stopper knows it is a crucial period for the team with huge games constantly on the horizon, but knows everyone has a part to play if they want to achieve success in the run-in.
She continued: “We have been on both sides; we have been at the top pretty clear and managed to not win the league in the end, so we know how important the split is.
“On the opposite side, we have been down points and not near the top and managed to take it to the last game of the season.
“The whole squad is going to be used over this period, and we know that with three-game weeks, cup finals, we have got all of them.
“I am sure Leanne [Crichton] will be looking to use the squad, and we have got the quality in it to do that.
“We have got no one that is below the standard, so we have got that luxury of being able to rotate on a constant basis, so we are lucky in that regard.”
Fife, 30, reflected on the last meeting they had in the capital against Joelle Murray’s side and hopes the team can take learnings from that day back in October. Whilst looking ahead to what’s to come, including the opportunity to retain the Sky Sports Cup on the final Sunday of the month.
She added: “It was a difficult day that day, I think we were on top for 45 minutes, so it is just about maintaining that kind of pressure.
“The second 45 was nowhere near our standard, and we know that, so it is just about taking that 45 that we did well and learning from the second half as well, and hopefully we can put that into a 90-minute performance.
“It is just big game after big game when it comes to the split.
“You can't take any game for granted, and that is the same for every club, so we know points are going to be shared or dropped elsewhere.
“We need to be up for the challenge every single game day, which we are, but we just need to maintain that consistency, which we have shown before Sunday and take that into the rest of the split.
“Cup final? We are buzzing, I think it is another really good chance to win silverware.
“Hopefully, it is a fourth in a row for us, and we will bring the cup back to Ibrox.”
